Recognition
Easton works on recognizing the colors, shape and texture of the marbles.
"What is that?" Referring to the tweezer. I made this activity fun and inviting to where it was a game to see how many marbles he could get into the other bowl with the tweezers and count as he was putting them into the bowl then doing a final count at the very end and separating the white and blue marbles into groups and counting them that way as well |
Modified Tripod GraspAutomatically Easton picked up the tweezers and used them using the modified tripod grasp! This will help him in transitioning in using this form with writing utensils rather than the cylindrical grasp.
"Yay! I did it, can I do it again?" This was one of his favorite activities, he always asked me if we could do "the marble game today". |
Play and Observation
During this time I observed Easton and wrote down things that he would say. Every time he would drop a marble in the bowl he would be so excited to where his friends had to come and see what all the fun was about.

This time I used a clothes pin with a number on Easton had trouble with grasping the clothes I adapted to the situation by having

they worked best for his developmental goal.
